KARACHI: Pakistan’s leading airline Air Blue has reduced fares for citizens traveling from Karachi to Islamabad and Lahore which is lower than buses and trains.
Airblue has announced a one-way ticket from Lahore and Karachi to Islamabad at Rs 4,847, which is less than the train and bus fares. It is to be noted that Pakistan’s private airline Airblue started its operations in 2003 with leased aircraft and has flights to 12 domestic and international destinations including Manchester and this airline is owned by former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

It is to be noted that business has been badly affected due to the outbreak of coronavirus all over the world including Pakistan while the major airlines of the world have closed down their businesses during the virus. However, after controlling the epidemic in the country, normalcy has been restored in the country due to which companies have announced various incentives and schemes to offset the losses.
Air Blue has taken a very important step by reducing the fares from Karachi to Lahore and Islamabad as the bus and train fares from Karachi to Lahore and Islamabad are many times higher. The company’s move is expected to boost business.
