Pakistani singer Aima Baig has announced her commitment to fighting for women’s rights in Pakistan and is set to launch the ‘Me Too Movement’ in the country.
On Instagram, Aima shared that her religious journey has provided her with new strength and purpose, driving her to empower women and protect them from deceitful individuals. “There are many predatory individuals I’ve observed who have ruined the lives of young girls,” she stated. “But for various reasons, I remained silent until now.”

The singer expressed regret for her previous silence but is now determined to give a voice to women through the ‘Me Too’ movement. “I will speak up for women,” she declared. “Through this movement, I want to send a message that we are not toys or jokes; we are the reason for men’s existence in this world, and we deserve respect.”
Aima Baig also urged women to raise their voices against injustice and abuse, highlighting the physical and mental distress many girls endure due to mistreatment. She emphasized her commitment to taking action, stating, “I have a list of names of those who have wronged women. We will work with evidence and support all women.”
