KARACHI: The driver of Attorney General for Pakistan (AGP) Khalid Jawed Khan died outside the official house in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) today (Thursday).
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Zubair Nazir Shaikh, three more people including two policemen were also injured in the accident outside the AGP’s house — located on Khayaban-e-Shahbaz.
The SSP further said the man driving the car was also wounded in the accident, adding that the injured people were shifted to a nearby hospital. “The car has been impounded that the accident had taken place due to speeding,” he added.
Soon after the accident, AGP Jawed arrived at the hospital and confirmed that one of employees had died in the accident. He said that the two others injured in the accident are being treated for their wounds.
