Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended visa issuance for 14 countries, including Pakistan, as part of its regulatory measures during the Hajj season, according to diplomatic sources.
The ban affects Umrah, business, and family visit visas, and is expected to remain in place until mid-June.
Diplomatic officials stated that holders of existing Umrah visas will be allowed entry into the Kingdom only until April 13.
The countries included in the temporary visa ban are: Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Nigeria, Jordan, Algeria, Sudan, Ethiopia, Tunisia, and Yemen.
Additionally, sources have warned that individuals who overstay their visas or violate immigration rules during this period may face a five-year entry ban.
This seasonal restriction is a routine measure implemented by Saudi authorities to manage the large influx of pilgrims and ensure smooth arrangements during the Hajj pilgrimage.
