The Instagram account of renowned actress Mehar Bano, who supported homosexuality during Aurat March, has been shut down for an unknown reason.
It should be noted that in a viral video on social media, during the last year’s Aurat March, Mehar Bano publically encouraged homosexuality and argued that she does not think there is anything wrong with homosexuality.
In the video, Mehar Bano can be seen saying she finds nothing unusual or abnormal same sexes falling in love with each other. The video once again circulated on social media during this year’s Aurat March and people strongly criticized the slogan of homosexuality and the actress.

The social media users started reporting her Instagram account continuously, due to which Instagram has deleted her account, according to the sources. On the other hand, the sources added that the actress herself deleted her account.
Special Representative of the Prime Minister Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi said that he has written a letter to the Interior Ministry to investigate the use of blasphemous slogans in the Aurat March so that the reality behind the marchers can be brought to light.
