LAHORE: Actor Omair Rana has recently been accused of sexual harassment by students of an elite private school in Lahore.
Stories of allegations against the Pyar Ke Sadqay actor have been circulating on the social media platforms.
Several students submitted a number of stories to an anonymous Instagram account by the name of ‘Harassment@1A1’ where female students of the private school accused the actor of sexual misconduct.
One of the screenshot stated, “So many girls had issues with his behavior. He used to flirt and his body language was also inappropriate, a number of female students complained about the administration but they didn’t pay any heed because the actor was a very vital part of the school at that time.” According to these submissions, Omair’s body language was always inappropriate and he would flirt with young female students.
Moreover, the wife of Omair Rana, Maira Omair, who at that time held an administrative role in the school, is also accused of ignoring complaints of harassment by students.

A student revealed that whenever girls complained to her, she used to do victim-blaming and scolded girls over their inappropriate dressing. “She even said to the victims that they should not come to her for their complaints,” said one of the victims.
