SWAT: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marriyum Aurangzeb was spotted enjoying the Malam Jabba zip line, hours before the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) public gathering in Swat.
However, some Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders were quick to take note of the opposition party’s spokesperson’s ‘merriment’ as soon as the PML-N leader’s video at the tourist attraction began doing the rounds online.
Fawad Chaudhry in his message hoped that the PML-N leadership would have enjoyed the recreational facilities in Swat and said that any citizen even the opponents get benefits from the measures of a performing government. “I have asked CM KP Mahmood Khan to offer their hospitality besides also keeping an eye on the opposition leaders,” he added.

Meanwhile, Special Assistant to Chief Minister K-P on Higher Education Kamran Bangash said, “Marriyum Aurangzeb, who had come for the PDM meeting, enjoyed the zip line set up by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in Swat.”

Further taking a dig at the PML-N, Bangash added that while the opposition leaders were enjoying “the best facilities provided by the K-P government in the land of hospitality and the paradise of tourists, activists of the Abu Bachao Movement awaited their arrival at the ground.”
The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is set to hold its first political showdown of a fresh anti-government drive at Swat’s Grassy Ground today (Sunday). Shehbaz Sharif, Fazlur Rehman, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Mahmood Khan Achakzai among other leaders will address the participants.
On June 20, PDM chief announced to hold rallies against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government. He had also announced a rally in Karachi on July 29 to carry forward the agenda of dislodging the PTI government.
