ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has reiterated that Pakistan will support stopping Israeli atrocities on Palestinians.
While talking to Palestinian Ambassador Ahmad Rabaie during his visit to the Palestinian Embassy in Islamabad on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the minister said Pakistan will work together especially at the United Nations in jointly mobilizing the world community to help stop heinous attacks by Israel on Palestine.
He conveyed PM Imran Khan’s message of solidarity with the people of Palestine. The Minister said, “The entire Pakistani nation is standing along with our Palestinian brothers and sisters on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.”

He said the people of Pakistan are disturbed and protesting over Israeli atrocities against the Palestinians. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan is himself monitoring the situation in Palestine.
Chaudhary Fawad said Imran Khan has consistently been contacting leaders of the Muslim countries over the issue of Palestine.
He said the Prime Minister has reiterated his resolve to raise ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestine at the international forums by contacting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.
Palestinian Ambassador thanked the people of Pakistan for expressing solidarity with their Palestinian brethren. He told that so far 73 people, including women and children, have died, while 1,500 others injured and 1,000 houses damaged in the Israeli attacks.
In Gaza, 67 people have been killed so far — including 17 children — and nearly 400 injured after days of near relentless Israeli airstrikes. On Wednesday, Hamas announced the death of its military chief in Gaza City, Bassem Issa, with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) saying they had killed three other senior figures as well.
IDF strikes also destroyed a multi-story tower housing Palestinian television channel Al-Aqsa, set up by Hamas. Israel said around 1,500 rockets had been launched into its territory since the beginning of the week by Palestinians
Seven people have been killed, including one six-year-old after a rocket struck his home in southern Israel. The past few days have seen the most intense hostilities in seven years between Israel and Gaza’s armed groups.
Coinciding with the aerial bombardments is surging violence between Arabs and Jews inside Israel. On Wednesday night, Israeli far-right groups took to the streets across the country, clashing with security forces and Arab Israelis.
