WAZIRABAD: A Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) activist has brought a lion cub to a rally in Wazirabad by violating the wildlife act.
According to the details, a PML-N worker brought the lion cub to the rally in Wazirabad which according to the rules is a criminal offense. He had brought a lion, which is the party’s election symbol, during today’s rally which was led by the PML-N vice president.
In the course of the rally, the activist made an announcement that PML-N’s workers and leaders will have the ability to meet an actual lion. On this occasion, the cub scared after seeing the public and it was taken contained in the supporter’s automobile.
The wildlife department had earlier imposed an Rs 80,000 fine on five people for bringing the wild animal to a rally addressed by Maryam Nawaz in Lahore.
The accused, Imdad, had displayed a lion on his vehicle during a rally at Lakshmi Chowk, which is a crime under the law.
The Punjab government had also filed cases against several PML-N workers and leaders for participating in the rally and violating the coronavirus SOPs.
Meanwhile, the PML-N has advised the supporters against bringing any alive animal to the rally. PML-N spokesperson said that it is against the law and the party workers should not do any such thing.
