ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is all set to visit South Waziristan tomorrow to distribute amongst the youth Kamyab Jawan Program cheques, announced special assistant for youth affairs, Usman Dar on Tuesday.
On a social media website Twitter, Usman Dar said the PM will go to South Waziristan to distribute cheques amongst the youth under Kamyab Jawan Program.
The PM will also review development works and underway projects in the region while he ensures economic prospects for their youth, he added. SAPM on youth affairs Dar congratulated all those who have been shortlisted to earn their Kamyab.
On October 17, 2019, Prime Minister Imran Khan had inaugurated the ‘Kamyab Jawan Program’, one of the government’s flagship initiatives, to help youth in the country offering a set of opportunities related to education, skill training, entrepreneurship and civic engagement.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the much-anticipated project at the Convention Centre packed with youth from all over the country, the prime minister had said youth are the future of Pakistan and our destiny depends on them.
He said the government strongly believes in merit and transparency and the summary of the Kamyab Jawan program is the program of merit.
The prime minister had congratulated all stakeholders for launching the first phase of program for the youth of the country. Imran Khan stressed the need to change our mentality to become a self-reliant and self-esteemed nation which requires developing a culture of paying taxes. He said only those nations move forward in the world that follows the rule of merit.
