PESHAWAR: A man has been accused of stealing up to Rs.3 million from a bank’s ATM machine using a laptop.
Peshawar Police in this regard contacted the FIA Cyber Crimes Wing to investigate the matter and a special team has also been formed. The special team obtained evidence from the scene and a man named Hikmat Ali is the prime suspect.
Three unidentified people had withdrawn Rs 3.3 million last night without breaking the ATM machine. On the report of the bank manager, the police registered a case and started an investigation.

According to the preliminary investigation, three people, including a laptop, were involved in the incident. No damage was done during the operation and the watchman slept inside the bank. Police said that FIA and cybercrime experts are being hired in the case.
