KARACHI: Coronavirus has killed 18 more people in Pakistan, while 2,547 new cases have been reported.
According to the National Command and Operations Center, the total number of people infected with coronavirus in Pakistan has reached 365,927 while the total number of deaths has reached 7,248.
In Pakistan, 326,674 patients have recovered from the coronavirus. The number of coronavirus cases in Islamabad has risen to 25,278, while the total number of deaths has risen to 265 after the deaths of two more people. 4,099 coronavirus patients are being treated in Islamabad.
In Azad Kashmir, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 5,690 while 1,348 patients are undergoing treatment. The death toll in Azad Kashmir has risen to 132 after another death from the coronavirus.
The number of coronavirus patients in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 43,052 and so far 1,318 people have lost their lives. There have been 158,559 coronavirus cases in Sindh while the total number of deaths has reached 2,764 after the death of 4 more people in Sindh.

The number of patients undergoing treatment in Sindh has reached 11,739. There are 112,284 coronavirus cases in Punjab and the total number of deaths has reached 2,519 after the death of 10 more people.
According to the National Command and Operations Center, 16,582 people have been affected in Balochistan and the total number of deaths has reached 157. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 4,482 cases of coronavirus and 93 deaths have been reported.
The second wave of coronavirus has started in Pakistan. To deal with the second wave, SOPs will have to be strictly adhered to. According to the NCOC, coronavirus is spreading in 15 cities across the country.
Eighty percent of coronavirus cases in Pakistan were reported from eleven major cities. Provincial governments have been directed to make SOPs and masks mandatory in markets, shopping malls, public transport, restaurants.
