KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Mustafa Kamal has strongly criticized the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for neglecting Karachi, the provincial capital of the country.
“None of the leaders of 11-party opposition spoke on the issues faced by the city during their Karachi rally,” he said while addressing a public gathering at Bagh-e-Jinnah on Sunday night.
Mustafa Kamal blamed Pakistan People’s Party for the issues faced by the Sindh province especially Karachi. “PPP is continuously ruling Sindh for the past 12 years, Bilawal’s speech at PDM rally gave an impression that his party had never ruled in the province,” he asserted.
He further said that more than seven million children were out of schools in the province. “The province is also facing a shortage of dog-bite vaccines even after the 12-year rule of the PPP,” he added.
“We have not witnessed such a situation in the history of this province,” he said adding that Bilawal Bhutto lied during the PDM rally and now Karachi would respond to him.
While terming PSP as the real stakeholder of the city, Mustafa Kamal said that those days are now gone when the city was forced to shut down on a single call and when Karachi issues were set aside for political gains on a single call from Rehman Malik.
