Security forces kill two wanted terrorists in North Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Security forces have killed two wanted terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan today (Sunday).

According to Inter-Services Public Relations, “Security Forces conducted an IBO in Mir Ali, North Waziristan. Two hardcore terrorists were killed and one terrorist was apprehended.”

A few days earlier, the security forces foiled a major terrorist activity by killing two terrorists and an improvised explosive device specialist during an IBO in North Waziristan.

The military’s media wing informed that the terrorists were involved in killing innocent locals, extortion, and planning and executing more than 25 terrorist attacks on security forces.

Earlier in September, Security forces killed five terrorists, including a high-profile and wanted terrorist, Wasim Zakaria. ISPR informed that security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Mir Ali where five militants, including Zakaria, were gunned down and 10 were arrested.
