Saeed Ghani shuts down school for flouting SOPs

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Education Saeed Ghani has ordered immediately to seal a private school for violating the SOPs.

The orders were released during a surprise visit to various schools of Karachi in the Kharadar area. The private school named ‘World Grammar school’ has been sealed. While expressing his dismay, Saeed Ghani directed DG Private schools to ensure SOPs in private schools.

Minister himself corrected the Mardarsah Islamia school No. 3 and made seating arrangements as per rules of social distancing. He directed that all children should wear masks and use sanitizers and ensure social distancing.

The minister also paid a surprise visit to DJ Sindh Government science college and directed to teachers ‘ students and teachers and noneducational staff to ensure SOPs and wear masks.

He also visited the college laboratories and directed the students that they could be safe from the virus if they follow SOPs.

Ghani was also annoyed when found that SOPs were not being followed at the school. He directed the school administrators to ensure that SOPs are being followed. During the visit, he also warned the students and teachers to ensure SOPs for their own safety and others.
