KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has been summoned by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi tomorrow in the multiple corruption cases.
Multiple corruption cases in which the chief minister has been summoned are multi-billion fake bank accounts scam and embezzlement in a solar light project.
Moreover, a letter has been written to the Islamabad police by the NAB for the security arrangements of the chief minister during the appearance. It will be the second appearance of the chief minister before the accountability bureau in related cases.
Last year in September, the NAB summoned Murad Ali Shah, however, he skipped the hearing. He was replaced by Principal Secretary.
NAB had given a questionnaire to the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Sindh. The questionnaire containing eight questions was delivered to Murad Ali Shah through the Principal Secretary.
He was once again summoned by the NAB in March this year in a fake accounts case, where he appeared before a five-member NAB team and recorded his statement related to the case of mills situated in Thatta and Dadu.
