Firdous Awan urges nation to follow virus guidelines during Ramazan

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information, Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Tele-School Channel will help in promoting literacy across the country.
Firdous Ashiq Awan took to Twitter today (Tuesday) and said that the education process of the students is suspended due to coronavirus pandemic.
In another Tweet, she asserted that from today Pakistan Television has started a regular Tele-school broadcast, launched by the Ministry of Education and Information and Broadcasting jointly.

کرونا وباء کے باعث بچوں کا تعلیمی عمل معطل ہے۔اس چینل کے ذریعے گھر بیٹھے بچے اور دیگر طالب علم تدریسی عمل سے استفادہ کریں گے۔2/2#COVID2019 #PMIK #StayAtHomeSaveLives #Teleschool

She further said that the Tele-school project was a manifestation of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision of promoting education in the country.

آج صبح آٹھ بجے سے پی ٹی وی نے ٹیلی اسکول نشریات کا باقاعدہ آغاز کر دیا گیا ہے۔وزارت تعلیم اور اطلاعات کے اشتراک سے شروع یہ منصوبہ عمران خان کے ملک میں تعلیم کے فروغ کے وژن کا مظہر ہے۔2/1#COVID2019 #Teleschool

Commenting on the Tele-school broadcast, she said that the duration of the special broadcast would be from 8 am to 6 pm daily and students from Class-I to Intermediate level will benefit from it.
The Special Assistant also said that the Tele-school project would also benefit the children who cannot go to school for some reason.
Firdous Awan said that children and students from remote areas would be able to benefit from this teaching, adding that its broadcast could be viewed both on satellite and terrestrial network through an antenna.

نشریات کا دورانیہ صبح8سے شام6بجے تک ہوگا۔ اول سے بارہویں جماعت تک کے طلباءاس سے مستفید ہوں گے۔ٹیلی اسکول سے وہ بچے بھی فائدہ اٹھائیں گے جو کسی وجہ سے اسکول نہیں جا پاتے۔گھر بیٹھے افراد کو تعلیم کے زیور سے آراستہ کرنے کایہ منصوبہ ملک بھرمیں خواندگی کے فروغ میں بھی اہم ثابت ہوگا۔

Earlier on Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched a Tele-school TV channel and said that the federal government will utilize all its resources to improve the channel.
