KARACHI: The Sindh Trader Alliance has announced to open markets across the province including Karachi from 15th April.
A meeting in this regard was held today in Karachi in which the impact on the business due to the lockdown imposed to prevent the coronavirus to spread was reviewed.
Addressing the meeting, Sindh businessman Alliance Jamil Paracha said that business affairs have been badly affected due to closure. He said that the markets would be opened from 15th April. “We have supported whatever action the Sindh government has taken,” he said.
Jamil Paracha said, “The State Bank demanded easy loans to small businessmen but the government did not take any serious decision on this and did not help us.” The federal government only gave relief packages to big industrialists and investors, he added.
The meeting was attended by the leaders of Electronics, Jamia cloth, Orangi town, Jubilee, Clifton, and North Nazimabad’s jewelry market.
