PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan has said that the government would soon announce a relief package to deal with the situation caused by the coronavirus.
The chief minister Mehmood Khan has said that the nation, government, and army would jointly defeat the coronavirus.
He said that the government has recruited 1300 doctors on contract and approved the appointment of 600 more doctors through the Public Service Commission.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that volunteers were forming teams to control the coronavirus. We have to unite and fight the coronavirus, he added.
Mehmood Khan said that all measures would be taken to protect the public, but public help is needed to prevent the virus.
It is thought that the number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 1000 while seven people have lost their lives due to the deadly disease.
In the last 24 hours, 28 new cases have emerged, while the first has been reported in Punjab.
So far 19 patients have recovered from Corona while five have died of the anxiety and seven have died of the deadly virus.
