ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority has instructed the satellite TV channels across Pakistan to make sure that no unethical slogans, objectionable content regarding the International Women Day are aired.
PEMRA in its press release advised to the satellite TV channels mentioned that the Lahore High Court has directed to mark World Women Day tomorrow, in accordance with the put-down principles protected in Article 19 of the Constitution.
The channels were also directed to suitably utilize time-delay strategy so that unsuitable words, slogans or content could not be aired during the live programs.
It seen some satellite TV channels aired unethical content with the special allusion to the slogan connecting to ‘Aurat March’.
