Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tahir Ashrafi calls on FM Qureshi

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that religious figures were playing an important role in the guidance and schooling of citizens in the country.

He expressed these views during a meeting with a renowned religious scholar Maulana Tahir Ashrafi. FM Qureshi called on him here at the Ministry of Foreign Office, a brief statement issued by the Ministry said on Friday.

During the meeting, views were exchanged about significant religious and political affairs in the country especially they talked about creameries registration, the statement said.

On this occasion, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi promised the FM that all religious scholars and Ulema would stand with the country’s leadership for the wellbeing of country and nation.
