KARACHI: The chemical factory has reportedly started emitting chemical gas near the Port Qasim that affected more than 80 employees.
As per sources, The chemical gas released from the factory was extremely dangerous to human health. More than 80 people were immediately shifted to the hospital from the factory due to a sharp odor released.
According to sources, 80 affected are employees of the factory. As soon as the incident was reported, rescue teams arrived on the spot and relief to the victims has been started.
Moreover, there are many other people in the factory who will be rescued in a while as their health condition is also getting deteriorated because of the chemical turned poisonous gas.
It is to be noted that last month, seven deaths and over 100 sick people were reported due to the release of toxic gas in the localities adjacent to the port area. The bodies and patients were taken to two major hospitals in the area, Kutiyana Memon Hospital and Ziauddin Ahmed Hospital for treatment.
