Man killed, three injured during armed attack in Kandhkot

KANDHKOT: A man was killed and three others wounded during an armed attack within the limits of A-Section Police Station in Kandhkot.

According to police, two unidentified armed culprits riding a motorbike opened fire at a vehicle’ showroom in Kandhkot city. As a result, a man identified as Niaz Ahmed Bajkani suffered serious bullet and died on the spot.

Police further said three others, Yar Mohammad Bangwar, Zain Lashari and Hubdar Mirani sustained bullet injuries in the incident.

The attackers fled to an unknown destination after swift action. The injured were shifted to a local hospital for treatment. After the first aid, the injured were shifted to Larkana and Rahimyar Khan Hospitals due to their serious condition.

The police have started a search for the culprits. Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Sindh, taking notice of firing incident has orderd the concerned police officials to submit an inquiry report into the matter.
