ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar has said that the situation of the economy would be soon improved.
While talking to the media reporters outside the Supreme Court before the hearing of the railway deficit case, Asad Umar said that the government was heading towards the right direction for the improvement of the struggling economy.
Umar assured that the increasing inflation would be soon ended.
Upon being asked about the replacement of Adviser to PM on Finance Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, the planning minister rejected the news by calling it a rumor.
Asad Umar said, “Hafeez Shaikh will continue as an adviser for Finance.” Fake news continues to float in Islamabad, he ended the conversation.
Earlier on 7th February, Umar said that this year the federal government would spend Rs. 35 billion on various development projects in Karachi.
He also said that the provincial government did nothing for Karachi. He vowed to allocate more funds for Karachi in the next budget.
