ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on February 13 in a case pertaining to JV Opal-255.
As per details, NAB directed Bilawal Bhutto to bring the list of Board of Directors and Zardari Groups’ record from 2008 to 2019.
In the JV Opal-255 case, Bilawal Bhutto has been accused of withdrawing Rs 1.22 billion from a fake account. The JV opal is a joint venture between Zardari Group, of which Bilawal was a director.
In May 2019, NAB had summoned PPP Chairman in a money laundering case. He had also summoned by NAB on May 17 to record his statement in the Park Lane case.
