US technology company Mobiz has established its regional office in Karachi.

Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Chairman Dr Kabir Ahmed Sidhu welcomed the establishment of the Mobiz office, saying the company is a Pakistani-owned technology firm based in Silicon Valley, USA, providing cloud, data, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity services across various countries.

He said Pakistan’s talented youth have the potential to play a major role in the global IT market. The expansion of international technology companies into Pakistan reflects confidence in the country’s IT talent, he added, noting that Pakistan has significant opportunities to become a regional technology and global services hub.
