Residents of Malir, Shadman Town, Shah Faisal Colony, Korangi and Landhi have raised concerns over possible disruptions to gas supply on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him), urging the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) to ensure uninterrupted supply.

Residents said consistent gas pressure was particularly important during cooking hours, when families would be preparing meals to mark the religious occasion.

They urged SSGC to take preventive measures to avoid low pressure or outages in residential areas.

Similar gas supply disruptions have previously been reported in parts of Malir, Korangi and Shah Faisal during important religious occasions, according to residents.

SSGC’s official helpline is 1199, while separate zone-specific contact numbers are available for Malir, Landhi and Korangi.

Residents facing low gas pressure or an outage can contact SSGC through its helpline or relevant zonal office and request immediate assistance.
