Gold price crashes by Rs 14,900 per tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a notable decline on interbank-based rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, according to the latest update.

The price of gold per tola (24 karat) dropped to Rs 438,036, reflecting a decrease of Rs 14,900. Similarly, 10 grams of 24k gold fell to Rs 374,205, down by Rs 13,410, while 10 grams of 22k gold was recorded at Rs 343,325, marking a decline of Rs 12,190.

In the international market, gold prices also weakened, with the rate recorded at approximately $4,156, showing a drop of around $149.

Silver prices also followed a downward trend. The price of silver per tola (24k) decreased to Rs 6,946, down Rs 413, while 10 grams of silver stood at Rs 5,895, falling by Rs 373. International silver was recorded at $64.67, showing a decline of $4.13.

The rates reflect updated interbank exchange-based pricing for the day, as global commodity markets continue to fluctuate amid changing economic conditions.
