The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency has arrested a man accused of allegedly filming female staff members and passengers at Peshawar International Airport and uploading the videos to TikTok without their consent.
According to officials, the action was taken following a complaint lodged by the Airports Security Force (ASF), after which a formal case was registered against the suspect.
Investigators alleged that the accused secretly recorded videos of female ASF personnel and women passengers without permission before sharing the footage on TikTok through fake accounts.
The cybercrime agency said the suspect was taken into custody and searched, leading to the recovery of two mobile phones.
Officials stated that one of the devices contained multiple videos recorded at the airport, along with active TikTok accounts allegedly linked to the uploads.
Authorities further said the suspect had shared videos of women staff members and passengers without their consent. A case has been registered against him under provisions of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).
Officials added that further investigations into the matter are underway.
