ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has urged the international community to realize the right of the people of Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).
In this regard, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan in a tweet wrote the second session of the United National Security Council (UNSC) was a diplomatic success of Pakistan over the IoK issue.
She further wrote that the echo of lawful, legal and constitutional rights of the Kashmiri people was heard at the biggest forum of the world.
Awan also praised Prime Minister Imran for boldly presenting the case of the Kashmiri people, adding that the past has no such precedent.
According to Awan, the role of Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is excellent.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi, presently on a trip to ease tensions between the United States and Iran to interact with UN leaders before heading to Washington.
Qureshi is also scheduled to attend the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) session today to discuss the dispute of the Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) in New York.
