Three passengers were martyred when terrorists opened fire on a bus in Qalat, Balochistan, on Wednesday.
According to police sources, the bus was en route to Quetta from Karachi when it was attacked on the national highway, and the unknown suspects fled after the attack. Sources said that so far, 3 bodies and 5 injured have been shifted to the DHQ Hospital from the spot.
On the other hand, police and security forces have cordoned off the scene of the incident and launched a search operation.
Five days ago, in a horrific act of terrorism, militants in the Sardhaka area of Balochistan intercepted passenger buses, conducted identity checks, and brutally martyred nine innocent civilians. The victims, all reportedly from Punjab province, were offloaded from two Lahore-bound buses on the N-70 highway near the Sara Dhaka area. Their bodies were later discovered in the nearby mountains in the intervening night between Thursday and Friday.
