Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a slight decrease on Wednesday following a massive increase on Tuesday, echoing downward trends in the international market.
In the local market, the price per tola declined by Rs600, reaching Rs356,200. According to data from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs514, settling at Rs305,384.
This follows Tuesday’s increase, when gold per tola gained Rs6,600, reaching Rs356,800.
On the global front, gold prices dropped as well, with the international rate hitting $3,342 per ounce—including a $20 premium—marking a $6 decrease.
Meanwhile, silver prices also decreased by Rs18, settling at Rs3,816 per tola.
