Gold prices further dropped in Pakistan on Saturday in line with a decline in the prices of the yellow metal in the international market.
As per the data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of per tola 24 karat gold decreased by Rs. 1600 to Rs. 349,400 while the rate of 10 grams of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs. 1,371 to Rs. 299,554.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold declined by Rs. 1,256 to Rs. 274,601.
In the international market, the gold prices declined by $ 16 per ounce to $ 3274. Silver rates remained unchanged both in the local and international markets.
On Friday, gold prices witnessed a massive drop in Pakistan. The price of gold per tola fell by Rs5,000, settling at Rs351,000 in the local market. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs4,287, closing at Rs300,925. Silver prices saw a decline, with the per tola rate decreasing by Rs68 to Rs3,782.
