In the Lower Dir district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an explosion at a scrap warehouse resulted in the death of 2 people and injuries to 3 others.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the explosion at the scrap warehouse in Khaal Market was caused by an unknown object.
They said that the rescue operation is ongoing rapidly, all individuals have been shifted to RHC Khaal Hospital, while the seriously injured are being transferred to Timergara Hospital via rescue ambulance.
Earlier, a woman was burned to death due to a fire caused by gas accumulation in a flat in the Gulbahar area of Karachi, as reported by national media.
An explosion occurred on the ground floor of a residential building in Gulbahar on Thursday due to a gas leak in a flat. The explosion triggered a fire, severely burning a 50-year-old woman who later succumbed to her injuries.
