Twenty Muslim countries have issued a joint declaration against the ongoing Israeli attacks on Iran, in which they have completely rejected the attacks and strongly condemned them in harsh terms.
According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Algeria, and Bahrain, including Turkey, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Sudan, are among the countries that endorsed the declaration.
The declaration termed the Israeli attacks a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, stating that Israeli aggression must be immediately halted to restore peace in the Middle East.
The declaration demanded that the Middle East be made a zone free of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction, and that all regional countries join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
It also emphasized not targeting nuclear installations under IAEA supervision, avoiding military solutions, and resuming negotiations for a sustainable agreement on Iran’s nuclear program.
It is worth noting that Israel has martyred senior Iranian figures in its attacks, in response to which Iran has also launched retaliatory strikes against Israel, resulting in the deaths of several Israelis and injuries to hundreds.
