The repatriation of Pakistani pilgrims who performed Hajj in 2025 is set to begin on June 10, marking the start of their return journey after fulfilling one of Islam’s most revered obligations.
The first return flight is scheduled to depart Jeddah at 11:50 PM, arriving in Islamabad at approximately 3:00 AM the following morning. This inaugural flight will carry 307 pilgrims who completed the short Hajj under the government scheme.
According to official sources, eight flights have been scheduled for June 11, destined for four major Pakistani cities: Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, and Karachi. This strategic allocation aims to streamline the repatriation process and ease the onward travel of pilgrims to their respective regions.
The comprehensive Hajj return operation will continue for a full month, concluding on July 10. In total, 88,390 pilgrims—all participants of the government-sponsored Hajj program—will be flown back to Pakistan via 342 return flights.
This large-scale logistical effort is being managed through close coordination between the Government of Pakistan and both national and international airlines.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), various private Pakistani carriers, and Saudi airlines are all actively involved in this operation. Their joint objective is to ensure a safe, timely, and dignified return for all pilgrims.
