Eid-ul-Adha is likely to be held on June 7 in Pakistan.
Eid-ul-Adha, one of the two main Islamic celebrations, commemorates the profound devotion of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.), who was willing to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah’s command.
A central tradition of this festival is Qurbani — the ritual sacrifice of animals such as goats, sheep, cows, or camels, performed in line with Islamic guidelines.
The meat is then distributed among family, friends, and those in need, reflecting the values of generosity, solidarity, and compassion.
