Car sales in Pakistan fell by 5% in April 2025 compared to the previous month, though they marked a modest 1% increase year-on-year, according to data released by the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA).
A total of 10,596 units were sold during the month. The decline in monthly sales was primarily attributed to highway closures in Sindh, which disrupted supply chains and hampered vehicle deliveries across the region.
Among individual manufacturers, Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SAZEW) recorded the most significant month-on-month drop, with sales plunging 42% to 549 units.
