There has been a noted increase in incidents of sexual exploitation of women across the country in recent years. Criminals also target women for sexual assault during incidents of theft, robbery, and looting.
Officials have stated that raising awareness about crimes and, in particular, protecting women from sexual exploitation is the responsibility of every member of society, and both the police, law enforcement agencies, and the public need to play their part.
