President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have issued a message to the nation on the occasion of the beginning of Ramadan, urging people to contribute generously to charity.
According to details, President Asif Ali Zardari, in his message to the nation at the start of the holy month, congratulated the Pakistani nation and the Muslim Ummah on the arrival of Ramadan. He appealed to the nation to take an active part in charity and donations during this blessed month, emphasizing that the essence of Ramadan is to rise above oneself and help others.
The President stated that Ramadan is a month of mercy, forgiveness, and salvation from hellfire. It teaches self-purification, patience, perseverance, compassion, equality, and unity.
Asif Ali Zardari further said that Ramadan is the best opportunity to attain piety, sincerity, and closeness to Allah. He urged people to support the poor and needy during this holy month and to promote the spirit of sacrifice and generosity.
The President emphasized that Ramadan creates an atmosphere of self-improvement on both an individual and collective level and provides an opportunity to restart one’s life with renewed purpose.
Additionally, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his message to the nation at the start of Ramadan, appealed to people to help the poor and needy as much as possible during this blessed month. He highlighted that the true message of Ramadan is patience, gratitude, compassion, brotherhood, and sacrifice.
Shehbaz Sharif stated that Ramadan reminds us of the suffering of others and that we must remember the poor and needy around us.
The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of remembering the millions of oppressed Palestinian and Kashmiri brothers and sisters who are victims of tyranny and oppression. He called for strengthening the unity of the Muslim Ummah and promoting mutual cooperation.
He prayed that, through the blessings of this month, Allah grants stability to Pakistan. He urged everyone to remember the oppressed Muslims of Palestine and Kashmir and the entire Muslim Ummah in their prayers.
