PTI founder Imran Khan has expressed disappointment over the poor performance of the Pakistan cricket team during ICC Champions Trophy 2025, adding that PTI will constitute Naya Pakistan.
PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja state this while talking to media outside Adiala Jail after meeting Imran Khan.
He said that after the break, the PTI legal team met Imran Khan, but Bushra Bibi’s meeting with Imran Khan was not arranged. During the six months, only four times did the jail administration allow Imran Khan to contact his children by telephone. Raja said that on Imran Khan’s orders, he would write a letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
PTI Secretary General claimed Imran Khan was of the view that there was no room for the party leaders who does not follow party lines, adding that Sher Afzal Marwat has been removed from the party.
PTI Secretary General said he briefed Imran Khan about PTI and Opposition delegation’s visit to Sindh. He said Imran Khan was told that entire Sindh was waiting for PTI, “we will fight for the rights of Sindh and will not let a drop of their water go to anyone else”.
Raja said Imran Khan expressed confidence on Junaid Akbar’s leadership. The founder asked party leaders who hold dual posts to leave one party position voluntarily.
Imran Khan asked his party leaders to move on with the point of view of Chief Justice of Pakistan. PTI founder said system in jails was contrary to rules.
PTI founder directed Aalyia Hamza and Shoaib Shaheen to organize party workers at UC level. Imran Khan expressed happiness over the victory of PTI supported president in Bar elections.
