Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decline of Rs2,000 per tola after reaching a record peak in the previous session. On Friday, the local market saw the gold price per tola drop to Rs307,000.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs1,714, bringing it to Rs263,203, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, the gold price per tola had surged by Rs1,000, reaching an all-time high of Rs309,000 in Pakistan.
The international gold rate also saw a decrease on Friday. According to APGJSA, the rate was $2,930 per ounce (with a premium of $20), showing a decline of $23 during the day.
Meanwhile, the price of silver fell by Rs38 to settle at Rs3,430 per tola.
