In a tragic case of alleged honor killing, two brothers fatally shot their 20-year-old sister in Jhelum for making TikTok videos. The incident took place in the Chotala area of Dhok Khorian, where the victim, identified as Ansa Sajid, was shot multiple times.
According to police reports, the brothers became enraged over her social media activity and subsequently murdered her. The family initially attempted to portray the killing as a suicide, but authorities are treating it as a homicide. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
Preliminary findings indicate that in addition to gunshot wounds, signs of other violence were found on the victim’s body, suggesting the brutality of the crime. Law enforcement officials have collected evidence and are actively pursuing legal action against those responsible.

Earlier this week, a 15-year-old American-Pakistani TikToker, identified as Hira, was shot dead in Quetta in another suspected honor killing. The incident occurred in the Balochi Street area, where Hira’s father and maternal uncle, Tayyab Ali, allegedly murdered her.
Police investigations revealed that Hira’s father was angered by her lifestyle and social media presence, particularly her TikTok videos. Despite his repeated attempts to stop her, she refused to comply, which ultimately led to the fatal attack.
