President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will visit Pakistan from February 12 to 13.
According to media, sources have confirmed that President Erdogan will visit Pakistan with a high-level delegation.
During his visit, a high-level strategic council meeting will be held between the two countries. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Turkish President Erdogan will jointly chair the meeting.
This will be the 7th meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between Pakistan and Turkey.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday extended condolences to Turkish PresidentRecep Tayyip Erdogan following a fire at a ski resort hotel in northern Türkiye that claimed 78 lives and injured 51 others.
In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Sharif expressed his deepest sympathies during a phone call with Erdogan.
“The entire Pakistani nation is saddened by this tragedy and is praying for the departed souls and the swift recovery of the injured,” Sharif said.
