According to a statement from the spokesperson for Religious Affairs, individuals suffering from complex and severe medical conditions will not be permitted to undertake the pilgrimage, prioritizing their health and well-being.
In light of the extreme weather conditions expected during the Hajj season, the advisory mandates that only physically fit and healthy pilgrims will be allowed to perform Hajj, emphasizing the need for participants to be energetic and able to withstand the demands of the pilgrimage.
The advisory specifically bars individuals with complicated medical conditions, including:
– Kidney disease
– Heart disease
– Lung disease
– Liver disease
– Cancer
– Dementia
– Infectious diseases such as tuberculosis (TB) and whooping cough
Additionally, children under the age of 12 and pregnant women will not be allowed to perform Hajj, ensuring their safety and health are prioritized.
