Upon the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the reserved seats, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers chanted slogans in favour of the judiciary and distributed sweets across the country.
In Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, PTI workers gathered in front of the Peshawar Press Club, chanting slogans in favor of their party chairman and also shouting “Long Live the Judiciary.”
On this occasion, PTI workers distributed sweets, and individually offered thanksgiving prayers outside the Press Club in celebration of the favorable decision.
Additionally, in other cities including Lahore, Quetta, and Karachi, a large number of PTI workers came out and celebrated their happiness.
On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers protested against the Supreme Court’s decision on the Islamabad Expressway, blocking the road and burning tires.
PML-N workers declared the decision unfair and chanted slogans against the Supreme Court.
