ISLAMABAD: Flydubai, a Dubai-based carrier, announced this week that it will launch flights to Islamabad and Lahore starting from July 1.
Flydubai began operating flights to Pakistan in 2010, starting with the southern port city of Karachi. The airline also serves Faisalabad, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, and Sialkot.
In a statement on Monday, Flydubai said that flights to Islamabad International Airport (ISB) and Allama Iqbal International Airport (LHE) will operate daily from Terminal 2 at Dubai International (DXB). According to the airline, return Business class fares from DXB to ISB start at AED 5,500 ($1,497), while Economy class fares start at AED 1,300 ($353). Return Business class fares from ISB to DXB start at Rs400,000 ($1,436) and Economy class fares start at Rs120,000 ($430).
Similarly, return Business class fares from DXB to LHE start at AED 5,500 ($1,497), and Economy class fares start at AED 1,200 ($326). Return Business class fares from LHE to DXB start at Rs400,000 ($1,436), with Economy class fares starting at Rs120,000 ($430).000 ($430).
