On Thursday the gold prices remained unchanged in Pakistan and will remain the same till afternoon today.
The new rates by the Sarafa Jewellers Association are usually announced between 12 pm to 3 pm every day.
Currently, the gold rates in the Pakistani market are:
- The per tola price of 24 karat gold: Rs. 241,300
- The price of 10 grams of 24 karat: Rs.206,876
- The price of 10 grams of 22 karat: Rs.189,636
- The price of per tola silver: Rs 2750
- The price of 10 grams silver: Rs2357.68
It should be noted that yesterday the the price of gold in the international market increased by $3 to $2,335 from $2,332, however, it did not affect rates in Pakistan.
It is worth noting that there is a minor difference in the prices of gold in different cities of Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, and Multan. According to experts, the marriage season will soon start in Pakistan after the break of Eid-ul-Adha, and it is likely that gold prices may witness surges in local markets.
