Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour brought a vibrant celebration of Pride Month at her Eras Tour which she is currently performing in Lyon, France.
The pop icon marked the occasion with a spectacular show at Groupama Stadium, featuring rainbow-themed lighting and a performance of her LGBTQ+ anthem, “You Need to Calm Down.”
The 34 year old singer greeted the enthusiastic crowd with “Happy Pride Month, Lyon!” before launching into her hit song, which was accompanied by a dazzling display of rainbow lights and decor.
During the concert, Swift also treated fans to surprise song selections, including a piano medley of “The Prophecy” and “Long Story Short,” followed by a mashup of “You’re on Your Own Kid” and “Fifteen.”
Following her Lyon performance, Swift is set to continue her European tour with a three-night stint in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Taylor Swift has been a longtime ally and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community — a fact she makes clear in her hit song, “You Need to Calm Down.” Swift, a donor and supporter of groups such as GLAAD and others; her “The Eras Tour” is among the most inclusive LGBTQ+ concerts.
