Famous Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is celebrating his 52nd birthday and on this special day, he announced his new project as a director.
The director had a successful 2023 with the release of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and now he is back to the director’s chair for his upcoming untitled project.
KJo took to Instagram to share a picture of himself holding a placard that read, “Untitled narration draft Directed by: Karan Johar 25th May 2024.” In the caption, he wrote, “Get… Set…. Go!” The picture showed the filmmaker posing in a crisp white shirt and silver glasses.
Karan Johar started his journey in showbiz as a director in 1998 by helming ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, which became a cult classic. He later helmed films like ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’, ‘My Name Is Khan’, ‘Student of the Year’ and ‘Bombay Talkies’.
